It’s 4 am
And I still can’t fall asleep
Playing back old memories
Of you and me
 
I heard our song today
And it all came rushing back
Our late night talks
Just when I thought I’d lost track
 
Laughing over stupid things
Running home in the rain
You standing up to my dad
I wish there wasn’t so much pain
 
I don’t know
But there’s something about you
That I just can’t let go
Maybe it was your smile
Or your eyes when you looked at me
But my heart is gone
It’s yours to keep
So many forgotten memories.
